Humanities Camp:
This summer, come learn about food at our NCUJHS Summer Program!
Food for Thought! is a great day-camp opportunity to learn to grow and prepare your own food
while exploring where that food comes from and how to sustain the food supply.
Students will garden daily and participate in some fun activities like berry picking, pickling, jamming, dehydrating,
and baking while also fulfilling their summer reading expectations for language arts!
We will read several books including Seedfolks by Paul Fleischman,
and The Omnivore's Dilemma (Jr. Edition) by Michael Pollan.
There will be opportunities for field trips and outdoor activities, and breakfast and lunch will be served daily.

See flyer below

Space in these programs is limited, please complete the registration forms and return to the NCUJHS promptly.

In addition to our offerings Jay Focus Group is offering Summer Camp Scholarships
to many different camps. Information regarding these camps and the application process can be found here.
